Business Analyst Online (BAO) is a Web-based solution that makes custom site evaluation and market analysis fast and easy. Utilizing extensive demographic, consumer spending, and business data, BAO provides detailed information and insights about consumers, their lifestyles and buying behavior, and businesses in your market area.

With BAO, you can:


County Business Patterns

Annual update to the "Economic Census" which shows economic activity for each industry sector by county. Now also includes metro areas and zip codes.

ReferenceUSA

Directory of U.S. business. Lists size of company, year established, type of business, credit rating, top personnel, yearly sales and more. Data can be searched by name of company, name of officers, geographic area, SIC, size, revenue or any combination. Its geographic search allows you to focus in on any US local area.

Local Newspapers and Business Publications

BusinessNorth Covers business news in Northern Minnesota and Northern Wisconsin.

Duluth News-Tribune
Full text articles going back to 1995. Must have a Duluth Public Library

ProQuest News
Over 300 newspapers in full text including the New York Times and Wall Street Journal. Contains many local newspapers from around the country, with significant business content.

Regional Business News
Full text of local business publications from around the country.

Star Tribune
Full text of articles from the major newspaper in Minnesota and the Twin Cities.
