Four University of Minnesota campuses have earned 10 of the first 16 Climate Action Milestones awarded by Second Nature, recognizing the University's efforts to advance climate action through education, research, community collaboration and inclusive governance.
“One of the things in Minnesota in particular, every state and federal office except for one U.S. Senator is on the ballot... that’s a really big deal and it’s really important — and so those generally generate more turnout,” said Cindy Rugeley, political science professor at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
The Biophysical Society is pleased to announce that Erin D. Sheets, of the University of Minnesota Duluth, has been named the recipient of the Society’s 2027 Rosalba Kampman Distinguished Service Award.
