I fully agree with what most of the class had to say about the sex scene involving Christian Slater and the only woman in the movie. I found it very unnecessary and some what offensive. The film portrayed woman as dirty play things. She was only used for one thing. Most of the men took advantage of her. I always pictured monks as holy men that were to abstain from sex. I feel that the scene was not needed in the film. It would have made the movie a little cleaner
