Why did you choose UMD?

I chose UMD for its incredible public health and psychology programs

What do you like most about your programs?

Personally, both programs have given me such a broad range of perspectives, insights, experiences, and opportunities for my future endeavors that keep me inspired as well as motivated to pursue my career path in public health and psychology and keep my community safe & healthy!

What has been your most meaningful experience at UMD so far?

Probably my volunteer experience for class with Dr. Tornabene! I was reminded of how important it is to give back and how much small donations and/or actions matter to someone or something!

What advice do you have for incoming students?

Listen to your professors! Obviously, but not just to the information they are giving you but their own personal stories. You might just be surprised at how much wisdom, knowledge, and inspiration can be found!

What do you like to do in your free time?

I personally love moving my body! Whether it’s running, lifting, Pilates, or yoga!
