26. Pierre DURAND ⁽¹⁾ was born in 1829. He died on 12 Dec 1897 in St.Anne'S Church, Turtle Lake Wisconsin. He was buried in St.Anne'S Cemetary, Turtle, Wisconsin. !INDIVIDUAL GENERAL RESEARCH NOTES:
Farmer and laborer - Emigrated with his brother Felix and Sister Olivia
(Durand)
Thibodeau from St.Gabriel de Brandon in 1867, possibly to homestead land in
Faribault Minnesota. Half-siblings(Children of Louise Sarrazin) Nazaire,
Joseph and Eugenie (Durand) Champagne also emigrated to Faribault with
Elizabeth's children.

These relatives all had large families. Most of the Minnesota and Wisconsin
Durands can be traced to these six grandchildren of Joseph Durand (1770-1835)

Pierre and Marie came to Massacheusetes, USA from Quebec area in 1875, next to
Rhode Island in 1877 and then to Turtle Lake Wisconsin in 1883, and then to
Minneapolis and then to Burnett County Wisconsin in 1896 where Pierre died in
1898. While in Minneapolis Pierre was a buckskin processor.

!INDIVIDUAL DEATH SOURCE NOTES:
Durand book lists Pierre's DOB as 1832 and DOD as 1898. Tombstone in Turtle
Lake Lists DOB as 1829 and DOD 1897 He was married to Marie BOUCHER on 1 Sep 1855 in Ile-Dupas, Province Of Qubec.

27. Marie BOUCHER⁽¹⁾ was born in 1835. She died on 23 Apr 1896 in Turtle Lake Wisconsin. She was buried in St.Anne'S Cemetary, Turtle, Wisconsin. !INDIVIDUAL GENERAL RESEARCH NOTES:
Sister to Esther Boucher who married Pierre Durand (Felix's Brother)

iii. Pierre DURAND⁽¹⁾ was born in 1861 in Maskinonnge, Quebec. He died on 14 Jan 1936 in Scott Township, (Burnett Co.) Wisconsin. He was buried in Sacred Hearts Cemetary in Webster WI. !INDIVIDUAL BIRTH RESEARCH NOTES:
Tombstone date of birth for Pierre February 10, 1859. Tombstone gives
first name as Peter.
iv. Joseph (N-1863) DURAND⁽¹⁾ was born in 1863 in Maskinonnge, Quebec. He was buried in 1915 in Minneapolis, Mn.
v. Louis (Rocho) DURAND⁽¹⁾ was born in 1864 in Maskinonnge, Quebec. He died in 1925 in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
vi. Julia DURAND⁽¹⁾ was born in 1869 in Maskinonnge, Quebec. She died on 30 Dec 1890 in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin. She was buried in St.Anne'S Cemetary Turtle Lake WI. !INDIVIDUAL BURIAL RESEARCH NOTES:
Julia's name is listed on the same tombstone as that of her parents Pierre
Durand and Marie Baucher(Boucher) located near the southeastern corner of the
cemetary.
vii. Narcisse DURAND⁽¹⁾ was born in 1868 in Maskinonnge, Quebec. He died in 1933 in Scott Township, (Burnett Co.) Wisconsin. !INDIVIDUAL GENERAL SOURCE NOTES:
Record of Narcisse as married to Emma Durand in Turtle Lake Wisconsin in 1888
and having a child Celia.
viii. Zoe DURAND⁽¹⁾ was born in 1870 in Maskinonnge, Quebec. She died in 1957 in Maple Lake MN.. !INDIVIDUAL GENERAL RESEARCH NOTES:
Zoe and Andrew lived on a farm near Maple Lake, MN.
ix. Francis DURAND⁽¹⁾ was born in 1872 in Maskinonnge, Quebec. He died in 1920 in Manitoba Province.
x. Edward Charles DURAND⁽¹⁾ was born in 1874 in Maskinonnge, Quebec. He died in Green Bay Wisconsin.
xi. Oliver DURAND⁽¹⁾ was born in 1876 in Woonsocket, Road Island. He died in 1903 in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin.
xii. Leon DURAND⁽¹⁾ was born in 1878 in Providence, Road Island. He died in 1957 in Lady Smith, Wisconsin.
