This course is intended to serve as a Capstone Course in the Senior Year for BFA students in Design, Production and Stage Mangement. Unlike other practicum courses, Theatre: Special Projects is not based strictly on the number of hours a student puts into the production, but is intended to serve as a culmination of the student's work at the end of their academic career, including a portfolio display in the lobby concurrent with the run of the show. All design, production and management positions for this course are arranged through the faculty.

Due to the unique demands of each UMD Theatre & Stage 2 production, students interested in enrolling in TH 4399 Theatre: Special Projects must first arrange specific duties with faculty before seeking permission to enroll in the course.

All students enrolled in TH 4399 must be available to meet other production team members between 8:00-9:50 AM each Tuesday of the semester.
