The Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies was established within the College of Liberal Arts and is an Independent Center with its main administrative relationship with the Department of History. CHGS is also affiliated with The Institute for Global Studies, The Humanities Institute, Department of German, Dutch and Scandinavian Languages, The Human Rights Program at the University of Minnesota School of Law and The Center for European Studies.
