    I am Michael McParlan, an undergraduate student working in the Mereddy lab working towards by BS in biochemistry and minor in mathematics. I graduated from Hancock High School in Michigan in 2017. I enjoy playing basketball and reading for fun. I plan to attend medical school after graduation.

  • Rana Imtiaz

    Hi! My name is Rana Imtiaz and I am junior in college at University of Pittsburgh. I'm majoring in computational biology with a minor in chemistry on the pre-med track. I grew up in Duluth and graduated from East High School. Some of my hobbies include sketching, playing piano, and coding.

  • Savannah Haataja

    My name is Savannah Haataja and I was an undergraduate volunteer in the Mereddy lab from spring 2017-spring 2019 while working towards my B.S. in Biochemistry at UMD. I graduated in the Spring of 2019 and am starting pharmacy school at the University of Minnesota - Duluth campus this fall.
