28. Napoleon'S Father BEGIN (1) was born UNKNOWN. !FAMILY GENERAL RESEARCH NOTES:
According to Gertrude Lillian Durand Joseph Henry had three brothers and three
sisters. The brothers were all born in Canada and moved to the Minnesota USA.
The sisters stayed in Canada. The Begin family home was in the Fort St.Louis
area in Quebec, Canada. Tom Bacig Jr. has visited the home and saw a family
cannon still pointed at the river to protect the family from the Iroqouis.

!INDIVIDUAL BIRTH SOURCE NOTES:
I am not sure that Napoleon is Joseph Henry Begin's father he could be
another
relative. It is likely that he is related because there were not that many
Begin's in the Faribault at that time. It is more likely that he was Joseph
Henry's brother.

!INDIVIDUAL BIRTH RESEARCH NOTES:
Napoleon is named in the Rice county history at the Rice County historical
society as operating a general mercantile store in Rice County in 1874 for
approximately one year. He may have gone to the Brainerd area after he sold
the store. He was married to ? UNKNOWN.

have been English Children were:

child ii. Napolean BEGIN(1). !INDIVIDUAL GENERAL SOURCE NOTES:
Napolean ran a store and is crossed refenced in Rice County history see notes
the store may have been in shieldsville. In Rice County History (See
Begidura.ro1 in afamily directory of this computer - Napolean's store is
listed to be located in Wheatland Township (Section 34,33) in 1874.
