A plead for us to stop bickering about a single scene? Perhaps it is WE who are not conforming to what you would have us do, despite the rationality of what you are saying. But You are quite right we are all prisoners of society.

: It looks as if we are no different than the monks. They were told what to
: belive and think or else they were to die. Today we are told what to
: wear, eat, and even what to do in fear of not blending into the norm.
: Granted we aren't told as directly as the monks but look around, we have
: the TV, newspapers, and other media that influence us everyday. As for
: the whole sex scene deal, it's getting alittle out of hand. Come on now
: people, it's not like it was a porno. The film I saw was about the monks
: and their life at the time. It was supposed to be a learning tool, not a
: topic of controversy, but I suppose that everyone is allowed their
: opinion.
