To be a reniassance person today, you need a burning drive to learn... it doesn't matter what, you just need to know everything. These people are very rare these days because of technology. What would you rather do: Try to figure out complex calculus problems or....plug Goldeneye into your 64 and go for a few rounds. The answer is clearly obvious. This is what technology has done to us..made everyone lazy. That or back during the renaissance period everyone was so bored that if they didn't do something they would go stir crazy.
