So, the forum has turned back to the religion stuff again. I think that deep down everybody has questions about God, if not a faint worry that eh does not exist. I think that we are exposed to him from birth on, that is why children of Christians are so much more likely to believe in God than children of atheists. If we are raised that way, where everyone around us believes that He exists, then who are we to question that?
I think you have to just take a look at the human body and realize that things like this just don't evolve from the life forms that started on Earth, according to evoloutionism. The human body, especially the brain is so complex that something must have created it. I have a hard time believing that we used to be monkeys. The emotions and feelings that humans feel are so genuine and heartfelt, unlike any other creature, and that is special. If we evloved from monkeys, who's to say we're done evolving? Maybe in thousands of years we'll be supersamrt creatures that can communicate with ESP and can move things with our minds. I don't believe that, but I think the Darwin argument is unrealistic. Some may say that Creationism is unrealistic, but all these different kinds of animals and plant life didn't just come from nowhere. Something had to create it, a higher power.
In response to why a perfect God would create an imperfect place, I think that it is for us to experince sin and to understand that we are all sinners and that heaven is the only perfect place anywhere. I know I'm starting to sound like a religion buff, but I'm really not. These are just my views and I think the higher power conversatins on the Renaissance forum have been the most interesting, and have the most responses because God is a topic that spans all times, and we can relate to everyone that has ever lived when talking about God. Itis the one question that will always the living will always ponder, but that every single one of us will find out for ourselves eventually. Thank you all for listening.
