• The Law: Federal governments Section 508 Electronic and Information Technology Standards
• The Access Board - This is the official home of explanations of 508. The law requires that the Access Board establish the official explanations of the requirements. To do that the Board empowered the Electronic and Information Technology Access Advisory Committee. The full set of their requirements is available at this site in the document: Web-based Intranet and Internet Information and Applications (1194.22)
• Minnesota Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Guideline - The purpose of this document is to provide guidance to Minnesota State Agencies to create, develop and maintain web sites that serve the largest possible audience. It is expected that web sites developed according to these guidelines will be in compliance with the Federal government's Section 508 Electronic and Information Technology Standards
