Definition:

The goods and services in the community as well as economic data.

Essential Data:
May include household income levels, major employers, and rate of employment.

 

Examples of Questions:   
  1. How many female heads of household are in the community?
  2. What are the occupational categories of persons employed?
  3. What percent of children live in poverty?

Did You Know?       
 In many rural communities, the hospital and school system are often the largest employers.
