Definition:

Provides activities to help the members of a community maintain or increase their mental, social and physical health needs.

Essential Data:

Sites of recreation, acceptability to wide array of ages, unmet needs.

 

Examples of Questions:   
  1. Are there specific recreational opportunities for all ages in the community?
  2. What type of recreation is offered in the community?
  3. What are the conditions of the recreation facilities?

Did You Know?       
Adolescents in rural areas report higher rates of alcohol use than in urban areas.
