Site notes for Popular Culture in the 1960s

This site was developed by Chris House for Humanities and Classics 3270 - Spring 1996.
The site is hosted by Tom Bacig, a professor at the University of Minnesota - Duluth.

The intention of this site is to act as both a starting point for inspiration for members of the class, and as a place for anybody else to just look around and explore part of what it was like to be around in the fabulous time in our country that is known as the sixties.

Enjoy what you see, and remember it well, because most of the popular institutions of today have taken a major influence from the 1960s in one way or another.
