Written Assignment Guidelines
These guidelines should be observed when completing any
assignments for the class.
- Work
should not be done using any software notation programs, i.e. Finale,
unless specified by the instructor.
- All
assignments should be written using a soft lead, preferably No. 1, pencil.
- Barlines
and note stems must be drawn using a ruler.
- Note
stems should go one octave above or below the note head. For examples look at pages 8 & 9 of
your textbook.
- Above
all, remember that neatness and accuracy are considerable
factors in the grading of all assignments.
