This lab enhances the trivia quiz from the previous lab as described next.

Following the description of requirements are:

• Links to lecture material concerning the technology used
• Details about how your application will be evaluated

You should use the Cars database and web application as a model for this lab: Cars.zip.

• SQL
• Using Derby in NetBeans
• Database Connection Pools and Resources
• JDBC

To evaluate your submission, the grader will follow this procedure:

• Create a new database and run the commands in your db-create.sql
• Create a JDBC connection pool and data source called jdbc/trivia for the database
• Deploy and launch your trivia quiz application
• Attempt to login a non-existent user and observe response
• Register a new user and play some trivia quizzes
• Quit and re-start the application
• Login as the newly registered user to observe data persistence
• Attempt to register an existing user and observe response
