Classes

A class is an abstract grouping of objects that are similar to each other.

For example, in an online clothes shop, the class "items of clothing" encompasses all objects that are for sale.

Objects of a class can all be operated on in the same way.

For example, all items of clothing, whether pants or shirts (or something else) have a price.
