I was raised a Christian, attended Christian school, taught Sunday School (and a
million other church things I don't even want to get into), and I believe there
is a god, but I have begun to doubt many facets of Christianity.
First I'll explain why I believe in god. Things just don't appear out of
nowhere. How could there be a universe (which is infinite in some form or
another) when nature is predisposed to nothingness? I understand how scientific
theory on the formation of our solar system are sufficient for athiests, but how
did the matter that formed it come to exist? How could there be anything
without some higher power? How did the matter that forms everything get there?
That, to me, is irrefutable evidence that there is a god ( not necessarily the
Christian one)-simply that something
