I agree and I'm glad you posted your opinion. Sometimes it's so easy to get stuck in one particular vein once it is opened. Pointing out the constant degradation of women in media is important, however. There is no other way to stop the proliferation of these images and ideas. The reason this particular sex scene in "The rose" is getting so much attention is because, like others have pointed out, the only woman in the whole film is naked half the time.
