How do I deal with Christmas? I get drunk. HAHAHAHAHAHA! It's true. Family
is great. I love to see them but, at the same time I understand why I live so
far from them. So, It usually goes something like this. Sister from out of
town shows up and shacks up with me. We share same bed and cough and sneeze all
night (seasonal colds). Sister begins to reveal true personality through
manipulation and control fetishes. Sister rearranges my cupboards and tells me
my cat needs to lose weight. Sister and I make sojourn to the city of our
births. We stay at grandma's and wait for relatives to show up. Relatives with
new baby show up. Mothers of all ages criticize new mother's mothering skills
(behind her back). New baby is cute. Christmas happens. I drive the 79 Chevy
Caprice to stor to get eggnog and cigarettes for uncle. Friend from grade
school comes over and picks me up to go out to rural atwater. We proceed to
drink bad beer and play trivial persuit. I get asked "who's chick are you" I
get into fist fight and burn down house. Christmas is over. Thank God! (only
