It doesn't sound anal at all. You bring up some great points in what you said. By the way, I myself am not a follower of the Greek Pantheon, but I do believe that they exist still today. Just as I believe that the Christian god exists, but I don't follow Christianity either. I think that with the spreading of Paganism throughout the world (U.S. in particular) that the greek pantheon is going to become a following eventually here.

Unfortunately, being a proclaimed Pagan (I'm a Celt. If you don't know what a Celt is, you may know what a Druid is. That's what I'm striving for in my life)I have quite a few worries about this Paganism explosion. I've come to realize in the past few years that Paganism is starting to become a fad among kids rebelling against their parents' religion, and a lot of these people are giving many of our religions a bad name. If this explosion is true believers, than that's an amazing, wonderful thing! But it's looking to me that (sadly) the vast majority of these people are striking back, and that's just wrong. It's an embarassment to not only Paganism, but to people our age. I just hope that soon enough this fad passes, and only those who truly love the Goddess, or the other Pagan Gods/Goddesses decide to follow these paths.

Sorry. I started out writing this to answer your question. Didn't mean to hop up onto a little soapbox here, but these are issues that are on my mind quite a bit.
