Assignment

This is a simple lab intended to ensure that everyone is comfortable with browsing the Web and composing e-mails. If you are already familiar with web browsers and e-mail clients, you need not concern yourself with this lab. However, these skills are absolutely critical to your success in this class, so if you have questions, please ask now!

1. Open a web browser and connect to the textbook website, www.scsite.com.
2. Locate the resources available for our text, "Discovering Computers 2003: Introductory"
3. Open the instructor's home page, and browse through the available resources
4. Open the TA's home page, and browse through the available resouces
5. Send an e-mail to the TA (jsonnek@d.umn.edu)
