TH 3099 Theatre Practicum II (2 cr.)
Expectations for those assigned to a crew: The student must arrange their weekly schedule with their supervisor to work a maximum of six hours per week for a total of 90 hours for the semester. The student must meet all expectations as specified by their production supervisor. Students will be expected to attend strike for each of the UMD Theatre productions produced during the semester.
Expectations for those cast in a show: The student is required to participate in all official production rehearsals; be on time and prepared for all production rehearsals; prepare and develop an acting or dance role as directed by the production director and/or choreographer; and complete a satisfactory performance sequence for the role(s).
Evaluation: At the end of the semester, the professor of record will request the director or production advisor to assess the student's performance for the course. A letter grade will be assigned based upon the student's reliability, responsibility, effort, collaboration, willingness to learn, team work, attitude and artistic success.
