Recruiter/scheduler checklist.
Pre-test.
- Get a random sample of potential participants.
- Use a database for each target audience (prospective students, current students, faculty, staff, alumni) to find potential participants. (Talk to Debbie Wing or Judy Kurshner about the databases and how to go about doing this.)
- Assign each potential participant a number.
- Pick participants with a random number generator program like random.org. (Or do a web search on random number generator to find another program...lots of them are out there.)
- Contact prospective participants from the random sample.
- Log all contacts made. (Pending, accepted, rejected...plus contact
info.)

- Schedule and confirm the room (if applicable) for the test and pilot test.
- Send a confirmation to each participant immediately after recruiting.
- Arrange for the refreshments.
- Arrange for the participant gratuity or gift.
- Remind participants the day before the test. Stress that "Your participation is particularly important to us".
- Schedule and confirm with the test team members for the test and pilot test. Corporate Time Calendar would be a good tool to help set up the test team schedule.
- Remind test team members prior to the test.
