This class was designed to bring together four concerns: writing, visualization, technology and theory. How do we best conceive of the synthesis of these four sets of issues? One way would be to deal with these linearly, one after another. But what are the alternatives to linearity? We speak of "non-linearity," but what would be a positive way to imagine this "non-" or lack of linearity?
