Ronald Manheimer
DULUTH — The University of Minnesota Duluth University for Seniors program will host Dr. Ronald Manheimer as a guest speaker at its 2014 Fall Kick Off event. Manheimer will speak on “Getting a Kick Out of the Second Half of Life” at 10 am on Saturday, September 6 in the UMD Kirby Rafters. Manheimer, retired director of the North Carolina Center for Creative Retirement, is a published researcher and author on the topic of living a fulfilling second half of life. His work on the changing nature of retirement and the expectations of a new generation of retirees has gained him international attention.
The event begins at 9 am with a social hour and the opportunity to learn about University for Seniors fall programming. Manheimer will speak at 10 am. The social hour and Manheimer's presentation are free and open to the public.
