UMD Statesman Receives Two Best of Show Awards
The UMD Statesman, the official student newspaper of the University of Minnesota Duluth, received two Associated Collegiate Press Best of Show Awards at the National College Media Convention held in Chicago, Il. from Oct. 31-Nov. 4, 2012.
The Statesman placed among the top ten in the Best of Show Website category for their news site http://umdstatesman.com. The Statesman also ranked in the top ten for the overall publication in the category Four-year University Weekly Broadsheet.
The editor of the Statesman is senior journalism major Matt Busch. Writing Studies instructor Chris Julin serves as the editorial advisor.
