Susan Beasy Latto, UMD Public Relations Director,
Is Featured Speaker at Annual CASE Conference

Susan Beasy Latto, Director of Public Relations for the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) was a featured speaker at the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Area V Annual Conference held in Chicago in December. The conference was attended by over 1600 persons.

The topic of her speech was "Guidelines for Communication in Emergency and Crisis Situations."

Ms. Beasy Latto holds advanced training in Emergency/Crisis Communication both by the State of Minnesota and by the Federal Emergency Management Institute in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
