University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) will hold its annual "Nightwalk for Campus Safety" on November 14. UMD students, staff and faculty will participate in the walk, which will cover all outside and several inside areas of the campus. The purpose of the event is to inspect the campus for possible safety issues and to gather suggestions for the future improvements.
Interested neighbors and community members are welcome to join the walk. Those attending are encouraged to wear appropriate clothing for walking outside and to bring a flashlight.
The walk begins at the UMD Kirby Student Center Plaza Bus Hub at 6 p.m.
Safety suggestions and comments may be submitted in writing to the UMD Office of Finance and Operations, 500 Darland Administration Building, Duluth, MN 55812, by November 21.
This is UMD's fourteenth annual "Nightwalk for Campus Safety."
