The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) will hold its twelfth annual "Nightwalk" for Campus Safety on November 8th, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Students, faculty, and staff from UMD will walk together, covering all outside (and several inside) areas of the campus. During the walk, each participant will be asked to complete a recommendation form listing any areas of possible safety improvement they notice.
The information will be used by Finance and Operations and the UMD Safety, Health and Emergency Preparedness Advisory Committee to make plans for campus improvements.
Safety walkers will meet inside at the Kirby Student Center, near the Information Desk, at 6 p.m. Members of the public are welcome and are reminded to wear warm clothing and bring a flashlight.
