the Newest in Technology

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) will present Techfest 2004, April 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Kirby Student Center Ballroom.
The annual event will highlight the latest advances in technology and student learning, including the "Eye Gaze System" from the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, and the soccer playing robotics showcased by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
New this year is the Educational Technology Forum April 2 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the third floor Kirby Student Center Rafters. The panel, consisting of faculty members from each collegiate unit, will discuss if and how technology is improving student learning.
Techfest 2004 is free and open to the public. Tee-shirts and door prizes will be given away. Refreshments will be provided.
