UMD Hosts SISU Finnish and Language Seminar

Everyone is invited to come to the SISU Finnish Language and Culture Seminar from July 25-31 at the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD).
SISU (Suomen Innokkaat Sisukkaat Ulkosuomalaiset) is planning a fifth biennial Finnish Language and Culture Seminar, a one week series of Finnish Language classes at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels, plus guest lectures and other activities. College credit (University of Minnesota continuing education credit) is available.
Seminar instructors are native speakers of Finnish who are trained and experienced in Finnish language instruction. Classes are interactive, informal, and utilize a variety of instructional materials and approaches. Seminar cost is $425 which includes instruction, on-campus housing, and meals. Enrollment is limited.
SISU is an independent, non-profit organization formed to foster study of Finnish language, heritage, and culture. Its primary activity is to offer biennial Finnish Language and Culture Seminars. Membership and/or participation in seminars is open to anyone interested in encouraging or participating in Finnish language study.
