UMD Professor Elected Secretary of
United States Institute for Theatre Technology, Inc.

University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) Associate Professor Patricia Dennis, head of the UMD Department of Theatre, has been elected secretary of the United States Institute for Theatre Technology, Inc (USITT).

USITT is an association of design, production, and technology professionals in the performing arts and entertainment industry with more than 3,500 members worldwide. As a volunteer officer for USITT, Professor Dennis will work to promote the Institute's mission, including actively promoting the knowledge and skills of its members by sponsoring projects, programs, and research. Professor Dennis took office July 1.
