The 8th annual University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) Undergraduate Research/Artistic Fair will be held May 6 in the UMD Kirby Student Center Ballroom from 1-4 p.m. The fair will include poster, computer, and oral presentations by UMD students depicting their research or creative projects. The Academy of Distinguished Teachers will also give a presentation.
Opening ceremonies begin at 1 p.m. with comments by Chancellor Kathryn A. Martin, Vice Chancellor Vince Magnuson, and Associate Vice Chancellor Steven Hedman. The fair is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. For additional information, call 726-7103.
