"Margie Adam in Concert" will be presented Friday, October 12th at UMD. The performance will be held in the Bohannon Lecture Hall 90 at 7 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door for a suggested donation of $5. Handicapped accessible parking is available in front of the Solon Campus Center.
"Queer Feminist Voices" workshop will be held Saturday, October 13th in the UMD Kirby Student Center Garden Room (3rd floor) at 1 p.m. Margie Adam, a singer/songwriter, and Kerry Lobel, a renowned political activist and former Executive Director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF), will be presenting the workshop.The event is free of charge.
Both events are cosponsored by the Spectrum Lecture Series Grants, the UMD Commission on Women, the Department of Women's Studies, Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Services, the College of Liberal Arts, Queer Students Union, and the UMD Office of Equity Education.
