The UMD Class of 1951 will be celebrating its 50th reunion on October 6th and 7th as part of the UMD Homecoming celebration. The class of 1951 was the first class to graduate from UMD. Prior to this time UMD was known as the Duluth State Teachers College. A variety of activities are planned including: campus tours, alumni tent, visits to Duluth attractions and brunch with UMD faculty and staff.
Public UMD Homecoming events are set for Saturday, October 6th in Griggs Field parking lot from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. UMD Bulldogs football game versus Moorhead will be played at 2 p.m. in Griggs Field. The public is cordially invited.
