Dr. Carpenter has fifteen years of full-time practice in psychiatric and child welfare settings. His primary teaching areas are advanced practice and human behavior and social environment. He has taught courses in clinical social work, research, crisis intervention and solution-focused practice. He serves as a faculty field liaison for practicum students and is involved in the supervision of master's research projects. In addition to his responsibilities in the social work program at the University of Minnesota Duluth, Dr. Carpenter is also an academic faculty member of the Minnesota Rural Health School. |
Mike Raschick, PhD |
Mike is the Director of Graduate Studies at the University of Minnesota Duluth and has a variety of teaching and research interests. He is especially interested in child welfare, gerontological social work, ecologically-based models of social work practice, and clinical social work. In addition, he is also an academic faculty member of the Minnesota Rural Health School, at the UMD School of Medicine. |
