International Transcripts and Credentials
If you are an international applicant, please list on the online application each institution of higher learning from which you have earned credit. You must also upload transcripts or academic records for each of these institutions directly to the online application. This includes partial or incomplete transcripts. An English translation should be included with each upload if the transcript is not in English.
Applicants from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Pakistan should upload copies of mark sheets/transcripts along with copies of all degrees received (if available). An English translation should be included if the credentials are not in English.
Applicants from the Commonwealth of Independent States, Germany, Brazil, France (and countries outside of France which are on the French system) should upload a copy of academic credentials in the original language, along with detailed results of all exams taken, and the award of all degrees received (if available). English translations of these credentials should be included if the credentials are not in English.
Applicants with Transcripts from Mainland China:
Applicants with transcripts from mainland China are required to submit transcripts in both the English and Chinese languages. We ask that you upload both versions into your application. In some cases, one transcript will display both languages, and this is sufficient for our purposes. Please DO NOT upload copies of your Diploma or Diploma certificates at this time. Wait until this information is specifically requested. Only upload your transcripts at this time.
If your transcript is an Excel spreadsheet or other type of spreadsheet, it is likely to become unreadable when you upload it. You should try to convert the spreadsheet to a PDF, take a screen shot of the document and paste it into a Word document, or scan it and upload it into your application.
Additional information about uploading transcripts can be found here.
If you have technical problems uploading your documents, please contact the central Graduate School Admissions Office.
Verification of Credentials: If necessary, University officials will write to the schools of selected students to verify their documents. If we are unable to verify the student's transcripts or credentials the University reserves the right to drop the student from active status and may refer the matter to law enforcement authorities for prosecution.
