Slogum House
Slogum House takes place in the late 1800's in the Niobrara River region of the midwest, shown by the yellow box on the map below. In the beginning of the book, it says, "The Oxbow country of the upper Niobrara including Dumur and Slogum counties and all the dwellers therein, is entirely and completely fictitious."
