Audubon Center of the Northwoods (ACNW)
The Audubon Center is a RESIDENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL LEARNING CENTER in east-central MN. Also serves as a field campus for many teacher training opportunities through Hamline University's Center for Global Environmental Education and offer graduate courses tailored to educators seeking either a Certificate or Master's Degree in Environmental Education.
Boulder Lake Management Area (and ELC)
The Boulder Lake Management Area (BLMA) is a "window" for various audiences to view full-scale, integrated natural resource management occurring in the BLMA using such things as interpretive trails, public programs and formal environmental education activities.
Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA)
BWCA-Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness of northeastern Minnesota (in green) and the Quetico Provincial Park of Ontario, Canada (in tan). More than two million acres of International border lakes that are interconnect by portages, and canoe trails, which Voyageurs crossed hundreds of years ago. Today, "you" the modern day Voyageur, can paddle one of the most incredible places. The pristine lakes and spectacular sunsets will bring you back every year. Opportunities also exist for hiking, kayaking, fine freshwater fishing, winter camping, dogsledding, cross country skiing, or snowshoeing. Most importantly this place will help us realize that we must preserve this phenomenal resource of "Wilderness." Entry points into the BWCA are established to help regulate the flow of visitors and increase your solitude experience.
Deep Portage Conservation Reserve
Located in Central Cass County, Deep Portage is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit residential environmental education/outdoor recreation center. Open to the public, it is a place where community, education, and the environment come together. There are hiking trails to enjoy, an interpretive center to explore, and educational programming available year round.

The Wildlife Science Center is a nationally recognized education and research facility. Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center
Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center is an accredited residential environmental education school for persons of all ages located in Finland, MN.
