Jackie reported on sessions regarding assessment at recent HLC annual meeting.
- Meeting with Academy mentor. Discussion around makeup of an effective assessment committee. Mentor suggested majority of faculty and staff vs. administrators, and provide training to support outreach expectations of the members.
- Session by Marquette University on peer review of assessment results. Marquette is similar in their use of assessment leaders, and in the timing of their cycle. CASL members agreed that we shoudl adapt the peer review model.
We reviewed Shannon's recommendations for liaisons who would be invited to become CASL members. Jackie will extend the invitation.
