With you in mind, we are excited to offer new and improved programming for our transfer students as you transition to life as a Bulldog! Below you will find the details of what you need to know before you begin your experience as a UMD Bulldog.

Advisement & Registration (A&R) Transfer Prep Review

Advisement & Registration Program

Advisement & Registration is a mandatory program for all incoming transfer students. The program is designed to help you get set up in UMD systems and to allow you to register for your A&R date where you will get oriented to UMD, schedule your classes, meet faculty, staff and other students, and get your campus id, so you are ready for the start of the semester.

Transfer Welcome Program

As a transfer student for the Fall semester, you are required to participate in one of two options for a welcome program. The two options include:

  1. Participate in the full Bulldog Welcome Week Program
  2. Participate in the Transfer Welcome Program on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 12:00pm-4:30pm in Kirby Ballroom

Transfer students entering UMD during Spring semester, are required to attend Winter Welcome. You will receive an email about the Winter Welcome date.
