"Damn Yankees"

UMD Theatre & UMD Music presents: Damn Yankees

Got Baseball fever? Enjoy America's favorite past-time with the classic baseball-themed musical comedy Damn Yankees. It's 1955 and a passionate Washington Senators fan sells his soul to the Devil transforming him into the star major league baseball outfielder who can lead his team to victory against those damn Yankees. Based on the novel The Year the Yankees Lost The Pennant and featuring music and lyrics by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross, Damn Yankees features such hit songs as "Heart," "Whatever Lola Wants, Lola Gets" and "Shoeless Joe From Hannibal Mo."

International Student Serves is looking for outgoing and approachable individuals to help mentor incoming international students for next fall.

As a mentor you would be paired with an international student and email them over the summer to answer any questions they may have. Additionally you would help them on their orientation day August 28th. If you want to know more about what being a mentor entails feel free to contact Kamila at admissa@d.umn.edu.

Resume Drop-in Hours

Get immediate feedback on your resume, no appointment necessary! These 10-15 minute sessions are for students who already have a written resume and have reviewed the resume guidelines in the Career Handbook.

You MUST bring a paper copy of your resume to the session, and then receive feedback from Career and Internship Services staff. If you are a beginning resume writer, develop your resume prior to attending one of these sessions by using the Resume Writing section of the Career Handbook
