Study Abroad 101 is an open session for all students to learn the basic steps to study abroad. This is a great intro for students who know they want to study abroad but don't know where to start, or for those who have found a program and want to know the "next steps". Come join us!

The Office of Civic Engagement invites you to the Community Involvement Fair, which is an opportunity to talk with over 40 organizations from the community. This is a great way to get involved, add great experiences to your resume, and gain knowledge about organizations and the professional world.

The U of M is in the process of creating an easy-to-use interactive web tool for facilitating access to information and services. The feedback we receive over the next few months will help define the future of portal at the U of M.

Make a difference this Spring Break! Join volunteers from UMD and the greater Duluth community as we help re-build homes in and near Smithville, Texas, that were damaged by the wildfires of September 2011.
Trip planners are coordinating the effort through Faith Village and the Bastrop County Long Term Recovery Team.

The registration fee is $430 per person - due February 8, 2013.

Introducing “Let’s Talk”, an exciting new program through Health Services Counseling that is starting this semester! “Let’s Talk” is an outreach program that was developed at Cornell University and has been adopted by a number of colleges/universities across the US.

“Let’s Talk” involves having campus counselors on campus for informal, confidential consultation sessions. The goal is to reach students who are reluctant to come in to see a counselor or those who are not interested in ongoing counseling but would like to get information/perspective from a counselor. These are unscheduled; drop in sessions so no appointments are necessary.
