What is the Bulldog Update?
This newsletter comes from the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Life, designed to keep students informed, and to streamline communications. We keep hearing that students get so much email that they can miss the important stuff. We want to help solve this by having information that would normally go to them in multiple messages, consolidated in an easy to read format.
In conjunction with this, mass mailings to students will only be allowed for time-sensitive and critical content. The Bulldog Update will be emailed to all students every Monday during the academic terms, and on the first Monday of each summer session. Each edition will be archived for easy reference.
Who provides content?
Content is provided by all UMD departments and student organizations. News, information, and calendar items should be submitted via the form below. Information that should be considered for publication include job/career fairs, campus-wide events, student organization events, registrar information etc. Events are limited to one early announcement and one the Monday before the event. The deadline for submission is by noon on the Thursday before the date of publication.
