Intern Selection Process

The Universal Intern Application goes live on November 4, 2013. SIT is hiring two A&R Interns, one Transfer Student Services Intern, and three Bulldog Welcome Week Interns during this phase.

Fill out just ONE application for one, two, or all three internships. The Universal Intern Application is due on November 15, 2013.

You will be notified by November 21st if you will be moving on to the interview stage of the process. Not every applicant that applies will receive an interview.

Advisement & Registration

  1. Interviews for the Advisement & Registration Interns will be held from November 22-26.
  2. You will be notified on November 27th if you have been selected to move on the final stage of selection.
  3. Candidates at this stage will be asked to complete a formal proposal based on given scenarios. Proposals will be due on December 6th.
  4. You will be contacted on December 11th about whether or not you’ve been selected to be one of the 2014 A&R Interns.

Transfer Services Intern

  1. Applications for the Transfer Services Intern are due Monday, April 14th by 8 am.
  2. You will be notified whether or not you receive an interview no later April 16th. If you are selected for an interview you will be required to submit a short proposal at the time of your interview. You will be given the topic for the proposal if we contact you to move forward with an interview.
  3. Interviews for the Transfer Services Intern will be held April 21-24.
  4. You will be notified on April 25th if you have been selected to be the Fall 2014 Transfer Services Intern.

Bulldog Welcome Week

  1. Interviews for the Bulldog Welcome Week Interns will be held from January 27-31.
  2. You will be notified on February 3rd if you have been selected to move on the final stage of selection.
  3. Candidates at this stage will be asked to complete a formal proposal based on given scenarios. Proposals will be due on February 12th.
  4. You will be contacted on February 14th about whether or not you’ve been selected to be one of the 2014 BWW Interns.
