Welcome to UMD All Incoming Students of the Spring 2014 Semester!
We are excited to have you come to campus and register for your first semester of UMD classes. During your half day session of Advisement & Registration, you will meet with Student Advisors who will guide you through the events including meeting with Faculty and Staff Advisors, talking with TCF Bank, getting your UCard, and answering any questions you might have about being a Bulldog.
Follow these steps to ensure you are ready to go on your day of Advisement & Registration once you receive your official invitation:
First, select a date for attendance by signing up for your Transition account here and picking an A&R date that works for you:
Second, make sure you've paid the non-refundable $80 fee in the Transition software and print your receipt! You will need it to be admitted on the day of Advisement & Registration. You will not receive further information about your Advisement & Registration date without paying the non-refundable $80 fee; your selected date is not secured until the payment is received by our office.
Third, sign up for your UMD email account by going here:
Fourth, once you have completed your payment, check your USPS mail for your confirmation packet. It will tell you when and where to arrive, where to park, and include some information about your UCard. We encourage you to sign up for the UCard's express option and to bring a laptop if you have access to one to speed up your A&R process.
Otherwise, call us at 218-726-6393 with any questions and we'll be happy to guide you through any step of the process!
See you soon!
