Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2.70 gpa
  • completed 30 semester credits (including credits registered for spring) - If you will not be enrolled for both semesters (graduating early, internship or co-op), you may be eligible for a partial year scholarship. Please explain this in your essay.
  • be an undergraduate student in one of the following fields: Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

Deadline: no later than 4:00 p.m. on March 11

When/How are Funds Awarded: Evaluation of your application and essay is based on clarity, completeness, and content.

The Engineering Scholarships Committee reviews and notifies recipients by Augus via email.

ESSAY (required)
Summarize honors, awards, extra-curricular activities (on or off campus), community service, employment (including the position you held, and/or any special contributions you have made). Include your academic and personal achievements and aspirations for the future. Some scholarships preferences are for demonstrated interest or activities in entrepreneurship, demonstrated level of professional and/or ethical behavior please include explanations of these preferences. 300-500 words. Correct spelling and grammar are important.
